Could any one point me in the right direction for a supplier and what mesh sizes , i would make it my self but i just finished replacing all my purse nets for this season and i don't have the time to bang out a 50yard gill net. _________________ Life is a bowl of all bran you wake up every morning and it is there

Temper, temper BF I never laid claim to being wise, that was just to show you that maybe you should use a rod?As you said, you know nothing about gills, using a gill in freshwater in the UK is illegal, and the odds of anyone on this sceptered isle having to use a gill in a survival situation is nil.
If your going to quote to me however, heres one for you"Mans ego is the veil that shuts out the light" theres loads of threads on here about gills,do a search.
i was just looking for advice from people how have used them so i didnt was my time & money _________________ Life is a bowl of all bran you wake up every morning and it is there

What fish you after and what type of waters will you fish?Freshwater and sea nets dont really cross-over too well, sure you can catch freshwater in sea nets and vice-versa but your better off getting different nets.
