I'd love to make over there someday, I love visiting places that are really green with lots of trees.  but I am a desert rat at heart and could never permanently leave my dust, sagebrush, and mountains.
I really want to go to Ireland someday  i have traced my family roots back to the spot of our origin . Aperantly we have a castle and I would really like to see it someday (our castle is a tower in a swamp, which if you knew my family would prove that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, even through the millenia.)

Ha ha ... How i wished ! Well there are still afew places but none that is even close to that of rivers ! Well next week i will be back in full swing ! Fishing And hunting !!!!     !!!! Cant wait !!!! Are thoes size common ??? Jo

they were wild Avon brown trout,some folks spend thousands of pounds and all their lives and never catch a 6lb wild brown! i think ide be safe in saying that here arent many that size in the whole Hampshire Avon.

WOW ... So they normaly grow to 4lb around your area ??? Guessing that they are great fighters huh since they are from a river right ??? Jo

a 4 pounder would be good too!  very good fighters , classed as a game fish here.
