we have quite a lot of forestry land as well, used to do field archery in them. seen some munkjack last week in the woods. must have moved in from somewhere as we didnt have any last year.
i just noticed this thread and I decided, to let you guys see my desert paradise. DUST AND SNAKES FOREVER WHOOO!!!
my place really looks like a wasteland compared to the lush green of England, but i sure do love it, i think i will be a desert rat forever
anyway here are some pics, some of you may have seen a couple of these already.
here is my town that i live in now, I grew up in an even smaller town just over the mountains about 15 miles to the south east
and here is a pic of where I really like to hunt Elk, Deer, rockchucks, coyotes, fishing and camping when I can afford to drive there its about 3-4 hours from my house by the back roads. unfortunately a big chunk of it burnt up in a wildfire this year oh well it will grow back in a couple.
I use my cell phone for pictures and it kinda sucks, i will have to get some pictures from my wife sometime to post, she has a really nice digital camera that she takes everywhere, its just more convenient to use the pictures off my cell phone _________________ "Speak softly and carry a big stick, you will go far" Theodore Roosevelt,

Hi All,
Where I live
Ive been renovating this for 7 years now and still doing, It was originally 2 small cottages when I bought them and I have now converted them to one Cottage, I have purchased a further half an acre at the back so the streams (Two streams meet here) run through the back garden, this gives me just over an acre in all, I realy did not know what I was letting myself in for, the work has been massive, and although I would never do it again I am glad I did as I love it here, I have no immediate neighbours so can do what I want.
This is my back garden this morning, I had to build a couple of bridges over the stream, I had to do this to get my ride on mower over as it used to take 2 days just to cut the grass with a normal mower, The bit on the far right is my vegi plot
I have to pinch myself as I feel so lucky to live in such fantastic surroundings, Me and the missus have worked very hard for it but I still feel very lucky, I can shoot rabbits and squirrells out of my bedroom window and often do, or just walk out the back and across the fields with my guns or Lurcher
My Lurcher FOGGY
