My lad would love to do some of that and has no idea how to even build a den. We don't have many trees here on the Portland so not a lot of opportunity.

mate my grandsons  love doing things like that as well they both have there own knife  and survival box  which they only get to use under supervision  you can still teach them stuff in the garden  making firesticks  using a knife    basic traps like fig 4 you dont HAVE to be in the trees to still have fun  cheers

wen i was a kid we live on the edge of pamber forest in hampshire me an my brothers thought we were indians    we had every kids dreams cattys,knifes and any thing els we cood get then we met "LOFTY" are bible so much fun and so many memoreis good 2 c youngsters doin the same
