The Pup nailed his first, rabbit this morning, in daylight, at 5.45am, he was hunting a field back and forth, the rabbit jumped, and he nailed it in about 20/ 30 yards, and I must tell you it is a relieve, and a burden taken of my shoulders, any person who has reared a pup, and he is only 7 1/2, months knows that feeling, (( as the old saying you can take the horse to the drinking trough but you can not make him drink,))) I dont know who is the
more happier me or the dog, yes he carried back to me, well within 10yards, but he would not bring it any closer, It was his rabbit, the first of many I hope and on to better stuff, when he is about 15 months, ((( It is a relieve, when they catch there first you know for certain, he can do it,

With every new pup,..its always the same,...never changes.

Anyway,.he has popped his Cherry,...and now it will be,..onwards and upwards

Last night I saw a fallow deer wth her 2 fawns, I could have taken them easy, but as you get older you, get a bit more understanding,
