Really nice looking knife that - glad to see I'm not alone in thinking leaving some of the file as a file is a good idea on a woodcraft knife - it's got to be better for striking a firesteel on than the back of the blade.

A knife from an old file is definitely on my 'must do' list - really ought to finish the catty and the woodburner first though.

nice knife here is one I made , files make great knives and I like leaving some of the hatch marks on there too.

That is very nice I like the timber you have used too there is something very satifying making your own knives isn't there.

im not sure what the scales are ..I ordered a set from a company and i got the ones you see with it ...they must have screwed up the order..anyway I liked them more than the ones that i picked out.
