I made a couple out of wood, one in a high density ply and the other in a bit of beech I salvaged from an old bed someone was taking to the tip.

I expected them to manage 1 or two shot each but I was pleasantly surprised to find the plywood one managed 10 half inch balls before starting to deteriorate and the beech one would have made significantly more had I not messed it up big style pouring in lead which had been over heated.

If you've got a router, a half inch half round bit and some bits of hard wood (ply does work but the surface is very rough as the adhesives in the ply boil out when you put the lead in) you can make an experimental bullet mould in about twenty minutes - it's good fun too!  The hardest bit is lining up the two halves - so expect to make 2 or 3 moulds which are out of line before you suss it and get one good enough to make shootable ammo.

Once my back is better and I can move out of this bed I'll be making a new mould in ally which will cast 5 at a time and won't wear out - a neighbour has a pillar drill and a variety of round ended metal cutting bits - fun fun fun!

If anyone fancies having a go at making a wooden mould gimme a yell and I'll pass on any info from my 'experiments'.

Cheers,

use a 13mil ring spanner , or the size that you prefer . just place the spanner on a flat metal surfice ,try not to over fill the spanner , and simply turn the spanner over and tap the shot out by banging it the edge of a brick or somthing hard and it will pop out a treat
