My uncle once told me he had a motorbike tank welded and the bloke used water to make it safe.

Good luck with the back,nothing worse than being "laid up".

Nasty, mate, I got a relatively minor back injury from twisting whilst stirring the compost heap and that 'kin hurt like nobodies business and put me on the deck for 3 days. Couldn't even get in the car to get to the doc.

Hope that you're up and about soon.
