hi mate the purse nets i got from that site are just the cheap ones , they are probely cheap woven nylon 2" but i only use cheap purse nets for ferreting as the rabbits are only in the net for a second or 2 , i have used expensive hemp nets before but didnt see much difference, as for the long nets i like the handmade hemp 2 quater mesh lines as me and my old friend walk and drive the rabbits into these, personally they hold the rabbits good , i am currently making a drop net , ive seen people use radio controll servos , but i am just making the old fashioned pin version the polls i made for this are currently at the powder coaters at the moment , when its finished i will post some pics .

Get hold of molecatcher/old longtail etc.

He's written a fantastic book on longnetting (Peg to Peg), and is one of the most talented net makers I've ever known.

I like to deal with people who actually use the products they sell or make.  Martin is great guy to deal with, and really knows his stuff.

Here's his email address:

molecatcher@talktalk.net

His old website address is:

www.thenetloft.net

But don't try contacting him through his site as it's playing up (he's in the process of building a new one).
