Im well busy at the moment Bernie doing research for a book im putting together but next season mate no problem for a walk out mate.
Hope you get them logs  i believe they soak em in a bath of water for a few days then they really get covered in oysters mate.

Just a pictorial history of todays coursing dogs mainly down from the merlin and eve breeding.
It needs to be done before its all lost for ever.

hey guys,

here's a few of the mushrooms i hunt in my area. ALL very tasty.

morels come up in the spring


puffball come up in late summer early fall


shaggy mane come up in late fall

Same here  the spores can be used for a crude antibiotoc powder.
They taste best  sliced and dipped in beaten egg.
Wildman some good sized morels there mate do you eat the shaggy inkcaps

juckler,

the inky caps are excellent. i wash the scale off, split them in half lengthwise, roll the halves in milk and egg, then roll in flour seasoned with salt and pepper and then deep fry till golden brown. YUM! YUM!

Shall be trying them wildman mate made soups with them and had em mixed with scrambled egg but im up for anything new.
Went for some blewits saturday they are still coming up well with all the mild weather and i picked a pound and a half of princes [brown mushrooms] eartliest ive ever had them they are not usually out till springtime.
