Visit the Egyptology museum in Cairo,theres papyrus on display depicting nets in use back in the days of the pharaohs,the egyptians were the superpower of their day as a wander around the museum will show.

ok guys apart from hemp, when it comes to nylon, 4Z OR 6Z, And draw cord 2mm r 3mm spun or braided..........

Depends what for MF,Z nylon needs double knotting,unless your buying sheet net from china for longnetting?
