well i had a really busy day lined up today!

first litter picking up in the woods, that all went fine!

then the wicker fish trap!

went down to the river to find the council has been out and cleared all the brambles and pretty much all of the willow back from the banks! grrrrrr!
i couldnt find a damn thing to make it with!

then back up into the woods to cut a bit of rowan for net needles ect!

got the log home and started splitting it to find its so wind twisted you could use it as a cork screw but not much else, i reckon it would even burn wonky!

then back to my first purse net made with spun polly

ive been knitting it for three days now and its doing my head in, for some reason my left thumb is giving me absolute hell at the mo so knit a row then stop for half hour while the pain dies down then knit another row, i cant keep the tension right and my knots are all over the place!

so ive f**ked it all off for the rest of the day and im just going to sit here drink coffee and watch the birds in the back garden for a bit and calm down!

cheers

Your thumb will callous up and become used to trapping the knot,it wont hurt at all after this happens, dip it in your own p*ss that should speed things up a bit.
