Here's a trout I took on Saturday from the beer garden of the Mayfly pub!!! Try to stop a brownie splashing about so that no one else in the beer garden knows what you are doing. Taken using a size 1 hook on a handline using bread!!

It weighed 3lb 2oz.

The Mayfly's near Andover. There were people evrywhere, I like a challenge!!!! Truth is I said I was going to pull one out before I'd really thought about it and because I'd gobbed off I had to do it so I didn't look like a mug. I had no priest with me and had to use an ashtray and my knife!!!

There's loads there! I'm going to have to go back with the missus and a big fecking bag for a spot of lunch. I know I'll end up getting captured but I can't help myself.

That's a fine one, and made all the sweeter by yanking it from forbidden waters.  I'd love to pull that one off myself!!
