ok so iwent to my local fishery, hot sunny day asking who caught on what (fly). only 3 fish all day, micro fly dry and green olive. Trout usually come out of here up to 6lbs faily regular so only 3 on a busy day?

Stayed for sunset and they were jumping all over the place, i thought taking surface fly but 7 guys around a lake using droppers, dry wet or lure and not a whiff.

I asked the owner and he said water temp was 24 degrees, if the fish get to 25 degrees they die, so they jump out of discomfort, not feeding. If feeding they gulp /sip the surface. Other than a nice view and time away from it all you waste your time fishing for the next two weeks, untill the temp drops back so cheaper to sport fish than pay for ones you probably wont catch.

Just thought id share that. :)
