i am mad for pigeon and dont get enough of it to be honest so this year i have a plan i have spotted quite a few nest which when the eggs have hatched i will tie the young to the nest and wait until there ready to eat

obvisously this is very unsporting but i love the breasts of pigeons (and women) lol   has anyone else done this will tie some birds nextweek with cable ties

no im not joking i have lamp them but this way i can tie and fetch them in a week or so its just an idea which iam gunna try out

yeah but they always fly off i got a nice oak wood full of the fukers all you can hear is this almitey crashing when they fly out. ther is they ocasional doopy barsteward though  and i do get they odd one daytime but just thought id try even though how bad it sounds lol

i doubt they will be big enuff for any decent meat................ drive round the back roads at night with full beam on or angle front fogs up a bit ,, they light up easy . a granny could spot them ........... then pop em with an air-rifle....
if you want meat my ways a lot easier than all that trouble and waitin your on about doin

Are you serious?? if you take nestling's  there is not a lot of flesh on them as flying  develops the chest meat but I suppose if you get twenty or more you should be ok.

Do what the orientals do and cook the developed chick in the egg and consume the whole thing saves the wait Eugh!!!

im going to try the hairnet thing but as people have said its probably a waste of time i am going to do about ten nests but i think it would be easyer shooting the fledgers with my catty  will post what happens
